Ghana's 68th Independence Day celebrations took center stage in the Dormaa Municipality, with a quiz competition among schools and thoughtful speeches from esteemed leaders. The event, held under the theme "Reflect, Review, and Reset," aimed to inspire reflection and renewal among Ghanaians  Rev. Fr. Stop creating fear and panic about healthcare delivery - patients and relatives warned

The Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital has observed the persistent generation of panic regarding healthcare delivery within their facility, particularly during cesarean sections and other surgical procedures. In a press briefing, Rev. Dr. Isaac Appiah, the General Manager of the Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital, lamented how patients' relatives disseminate false information about surgeries and cesarean section activities to the public, which occasionally diminishes public confidence in the health facility.  He admonished patients and their relatives to refrain from such behavior, stressing that it is legally impermissible to disclose others' health status publicly. We need financial assistance to revitalize the Duasidan Monkey Sanctuary to enhance tourism - Centre Leaders plead

Duasidan is a modest community nestled within the Dormaa Central Constituency of the Bono Region, predominantly inhabited by farmers.  The community garners recognition within Dormaa and the Bono Region due to the presence of monkeys, which hold the potential to transform the area into a tourist attraction, should it be revitalized to enhance its appeal. Despite the precarious condition of the monkey sanctuary, an NGO visited some years ago to construct a small house to accommodate the leaders and caretakers of the monkeys, facilitating the reception of visitors who occasionally come to witness the monkeys, including students and other guests.
